Site work and paving for a civil project in State College, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
Masters Boulevard/Waddle Road Extension Project, which involves the construction of 2,300 linear feet of new roadway construction, including a roundabout and traffic signal in Patton Township, Centre County will be received by Toftrees Development Company, Inc. No pre-bid meeting will be held as part of this advertisement/bid. Each BID must be accompanied by a Bid Bond payable to the Project Sponsor for ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the BID. As soon as the BID prices have been compared, the Project Sponsor will return the Bonds of all except the three lowest responsible bidders. When the Agreement is executed, the bonds of the two remaining unsuccessful bidders will be returned. The Project Sponsor reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any informalities in the bidding, or to limit the scope of work involved. No bidder may withdraw a bid within sixty (60) days after the actual date of the opening thereof. Should there be reasons why the contract cannot be awarded within the specified period, the time may be extended by mutual agreement between the Project Sponsor and the Bidder. All questions are due by 12:00 p.m. on February 2, 2024. Established PA Prevailing wages apply to this contract. The contract documents have a goal for addressing prevailing labor wage rates, labor standards, and non-discrimination in hiring practices.
