Renovation of a residential development in Charleston, West Virginia. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a residential development.
Charleston-Kanawha Housing reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and waive any informality in the bidding. Charleston-Kanawha Housing Authority of the City of Charleston, West Virginia, is soliciting proposals and interest from qualified firms such as architectural & engineering, for services in connection with general modernization work at all Charleston-Kanawha Housing developments and any other related modernization or construction services for a period of twentyfour months with a renewal option for an additional two year period. The scope of work shall include but is not necessarily limited to: extensive investigation, mapping, measuring and all other related preliminary work; preparation of construction specifications; drawings; detailed cost estimates; pre-bid and conference; bid evaluations and recommendations; construction evaluation and recommendations; pre-construction and plan review; construction observation, monitoring and complete inspection services; and close-out of all construction work. The selected firm should also have experience in the requirements for completing projects in a public housing and multifamily environment. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
