Newtown Elementary School Chiller Replacement Project The Council Rock School District will also receive SEPARATE sealed bids for the following Project in the form of MULTIPLE prime lump sum contracts. Electronic Contract Documents: In order to Bid the Project, prospective bidders must obtain Bid/Contract Documents in electronic format (PDF) via e-mailed link upon request to DHuy Engineering, Inc., 1 East Broad Street, Suite 310, Bethlehem, PA 18018, 610-865-3000, and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Fifty Dollars ($50.00) per project. SCOPE OF WORK A. Alter and extend the existing automatic temperature control systems and building management and control systems (BMS) to provide automatic control, monitoring, and alarming of new HVAC equipment installed in this project including: 1. Air-cooled Chiller and Pumps. B. Disconnect, re-connect, and validate the operation of existing automatic controls including existing building management and control systems, chiller plant automation systems, and boiler plant automation systems to maintain control, monitoring, and alarming of existing HVAC equipment designated to be replaced. Retain existing control programs and sequences of operation including existing setpoints and schedules for existing systems intended to remain. Provide modifications to existing sequences as described in Section 230993 C. Prior to commencement of demolition and removal work: 1. Field verify, coordinate, and clearly identify the extent of existing control wiring, devices, and components intended to be salvaged and re-used. 2. Perform a systems operational test and report any existing alarms, warnings, or operational deficiencies. 3. Where existing pump variable frequency drives (VFD) are replaced, record existing programming setpoints and limits.
