Renovation of a municipal facility in Hinton, West Virginia. Design plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
As of June 5, 2025, this project is in the design phase. Construction should begin in the winter of 2025. *Previous solicitation listed below for reference:* The Summers County Commission is in the process of obtaining qualifications from engineering and/or architectural firms. The selected firm(s) will be procured for the updates to the jury box, witness stand, and jury bathroom at the courthouse complex to meet ADA Compliance. Professional services for the activity funded include; (1) Construction design in accordance with all State, Federal, and Local regulations that pertain to the proposed project; (2) Preparation of bidding and contracting documents; (3) Participation in the evaluation of bids received; (4) Monitor and inspect construction activities on a periodic basis to insure compliance with plans and specifications; (5) SHPO coordination and compliance; (6) Preparation and delivery of final "As Built" drawings in digital format.
