Saving Project...

Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Sioux City, Iowa. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and transportation facility.

The project is located at the Sioux Gateway Airport, 2403 Aviation Boulevard and includes the crack seal and emulsified asphalt seal coat of approximately 99,700 square yards of existing bituminous airfield pavements. The project also includes the placement of approximately 60,000 square feet of pavement markings on existing airfield pavements. The Notice of Public Hearing will be published in the Sioux City Journal on January 27, 2024, and February 3, 2024. This project has an early start date of May 28, 2024, and a late start date of June 13, 2024. Work shall be completed within 21 Calendar Days. Wage Determination wages are required, along with records of employee wages paid and hours worked in compliance with requirements outlined in the Specifications, Supplementary Provisions. The Contractor shall comply with the Davis-Bacon Act and the Copeland Anti-Kickback Act. However, the City reserves the right to reject any or all bids, re-advertise for new bids and to waive informalities that may be in the best interest of the City. Each bid must be made on a form furnished by the City and must be accompanied by a bid bond, a cashier's check or certified check of an Iowa bank or a bank chartered under the laws of the United States, or a certified share draft drawn on a credit union in Iowa or chartered under the laws of the United States, in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the amount of the bid 1014 - 4998 - 002
