Improvements to be included within this Project are as follows: The scope of work includes improvements at three (3) City of Fife building locations, including the City Hall, Criminal Justice Center (CJC), and Public Works. A general description of the scope includes, but is not limited to, the following: City Hall: Low-slope roof repairs, window repairs, storefront modification, and a new chemical fire extinguishing system for the server room Criminal Justice Center: Low-slope roof repairs and damage at sallyport, add/upgrade exterior lighting, added lobby lighting, upgraded exhaust fans, interior updates including new flooring and painting, replace acoustic panels in the courtroom, and modifications to the courtroom council tables. Public Works: Roof repairs of the insulation and vapor barrier at the Shop Building, upgrade exterior lighting, and replace the exterior stairs and ramp at the offices. Estimated Bid Range: $800,000 to $900,000 *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. Pierce County prevailing wage requirements are in effect. Bid Bonds submitted on other than the bond form provided by the City may be subject to rejection. Faxed bids and/or surety bond will not be accepted. Liquidated Damages: The Project must be physically completed within 120 calendar days. Liquidated damages per the Contract will be assessed $1,000 for each calendar day of delay in completion of the Project.
