4PR Bid Package 1 Taxiway V and Connectors SCOPE OF WORK: This project is part of the 4th Parallel Runway Program and includes the construction of parallel Taxiway V and associated connector taxiways in preparation for future Runway 1C19C. The scope of work involves, but is not limited to, clearing, pavement demolition, CCP taxiway pavement, asphalt taxiway shoulder paving, excavation, hauling and placement of excess material into designated stockpiles on airport property, stormwater drainage, erosion and sediment control, pavement markings, airfield electrical, FAA power and communications, and FAA NAVAID relocations. Payment Bond. The approved form of security furnished by the Contractor and its surety as a guaranty that it will pay in full all bills and accounts for materials and labor used in the construction of the Work. Performance Bond. The approved form of security furnished by the Contractor and his surety as a guarantee that the Contractor will complete the Work in accordance with the terms of the Contract. Bid Security. The security furnished with a Bid to guarantee that the Bidder will enter into the Contract if its Bid is accepted by the Owner.
