Reference Number 0000263172 Question Acceptance Deadline Feb 16, 2024 12:00 AM CST For the inspection, maintenance and emergent service of Fire Dampers and equipment listed below and to provide all labour, equipment and materials to thoroughly carry out the service. BGIS Job Plan details were developed using the National Canadian Fire Alarm Code and Standards NFC, NFPA13, NFPA25, NBC, ULC, OFC, OEC and OBC. Service Providers are responsible for ensuring current site specific Fire Life Safety regulatory requirements are maintained according to all applicable laws or requirements (as noted but not limited to the list above) and to notify BGIS of any discrepancies or changes required to our Job Plans and service requirements. The BGIS CMMS database/system will be the control point for scheduling. Perform all necessary work to service and ensure good operational order of all fire protection equipment as described herein, and as a minimum, but not limited to, in accordance with NFPA 25 and the applicable provincial, federal/national (NBC National Building Code) and/or municipal Fire Code, and local Fire Departments standards. Ensure that all local authorities and third party and/or alarm monitoring agencies have been notified prior to performing any inspections and/or testing as required under this Agreement. Perform the Deliverables at the Properties set out in our building list: (enter file ref # or name), as may be amended from time to time or as instructed by our work orders. Provide service reports for each individual Property, outlining recommendations for needed repairs within the time period set out herein. Vendor will not leave the job site if it there is an unsafe or non-compliant situation without direction from BGIS. In the event that the Supplier receives an Order to undertake a portion of the scheduled Deliverables, and the remaining inspections for the applicable Property are, or will become due as part of the overall annual services to be performed under the Agreement the Supplier shall notify the BGIS representative identified on the Order advising them of the remaining Deliverables that are due, and perform the services once authorization has been given by the BGIS representative. If Supplier is on site and something should or can be done (equipment is non-compliant, non- operational in scope of current work order/not described on work order we expect them to immediately contact the Property Manager or Maintenance Team Lead directly if possible or through the operations center and immediately request a work order to execute work or be given direction on how to proceed. Unless otherwise agreed between the parties the Supplier is to quote the work and submit same to the BGIS Representative for approval. In accordance with the Agreement, approved work under this requirement will be performed upon receipt of an Order from BGIS to the Supplier. BGIS may upon its sole discretion modify/change/add/remove job plans from time to time as we feel necessary. In the event local regulations change, the vendor will immediately notify BGIS and will follow new code procedures/requirements.
