The Project consists of NEW KEY FOB ENTRY SYSTEMS at Wayne L. Hays Tower, Hartmann Manor, Edward M. Selby Apartments & John Laslo Apartments in Martins Ferry, OH, Dr. W.J. Shepard Apartments and Rose Hill Tower in Bellaire, OH, Shadyside Manor in Shadyside, OH and Wayne L. Hays Colonial in Flushing, OH for the Belmont Metropolitan Housing Authority. All work of this project is to be bid under one prime contract. Work incorporated, but not limited to this contract, is as follows: 1. Provide all new equipment as shown and described in the contract documents. 2. Provide all miscellaneous related General work as shown and described in the Contract Documents, and Electrical work to accommodate operation of new systems. The Belmont Metropolitan Housing Authority reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informalities in the bidding process. The Housing Authority is an Equal Opportunity Employer and does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, creed, national origin, sex, familial status, handicap disability, religion or age. The bid bond must be duly executed by the Bidder as principal and having as surety thereon a surety company approved by the Owner, in the amount of 5% of each bid. Bidder must agree to commence work on or before a date to be specified in a written Notice to Proceed of the Owner and to fully complete the projects within SIXTY (60) CONSECUTIVE CALENDAR DAYS. Bidder must agree also to pay as liquidated damages, the sum of $100.00 for each consecutive calendar day of delay in achieving final completion.
