The Work in this project includes demolition of the two existing outfalls and purchase and installation of two proposed storm sewer outfalls at Reid Road MUD No. 1's existing wastewater treatment plant. The approximate length of the two proposed outfalls are 42, and 47 LF of 24" HDPE respectively. The Work primarily consists of the construction of new outfall locations at Reid Road MUD No. 1's existing wastewater treatment plant located at 10015 Gusty Winds Dr. Each bid shall be accompanied by a bid guarantee in the form of a certified check, cashier's check, or acceptable Bid Bond, payable to Reid Road MUD No. 01, in an amount not less than 5% of the maximum Bid price submitted, as a guarantee that the bidder will enter into a contract within Ten (10) days after receipt of the contract documents. Check shall be drawn on a responsible bank in the state and a bid bond shall be issued by a surety legally authorized to do business in the state. The right is reserved, as the interest of the district may require, to reject any or all bids and/or to waive any irregularities in bids received.
