The action involves the overhaul of the Catskill Transfer Station's residential drop-off area, including: construction of a new residential drop-off structure, relocating roll-offs into the new structure, and constructing associated infrastructure. The new residential drop-off area will improve both safety and efficiency at the Catskill Transfer Station Site. The project is located at 183 Route 385 in the Town of Catskill, New York. Site improvements to include clearing and grubbing, storm water management modifications, asphalt/concrete pavements, earthwork (primarily fill), and incidental restoration. Contract Documents, including Advertisement For Bids, Information For Bidders, Labor and Employment, Additional Instructions, Bid Documents, Agreement, General Conditions, General Requirements. It will commence with a brief overview of project followed by review of any questions that potential Bidders may have. Upon completion of the question period, the conference will proceed to the site for a site walkover. Any questions requiring clarification will be addressed in an Addendum. No Bidder may withdraw his bid within forty-five (45) days after the actual date of opening thereof. This is an exempt capital improvement project, and Bidders shall not include in their bid sales and compensating use taxes on the cost of materials which are to be incorporated into the work and which are to be separately sold by the Contractor to the Greene County Highway Department & Solid Waste Management prior to incorporation into the work of the Contracts. The attention of Bidders is particularly called to the requirements as to conditions of employment to be observed and minimum wage rates to be paid under the Contracts. The right is reserved to waive any informalities in the Bid and to reject any or all Bids. Requests for interpretations prior to receipt of Bids must be presented in writing to the Engineer, Barton & Loguidice, D.P.C., 443 Electronics Parkway, Liverpool, New York 13088, and to be given consideration must be received by the Engineer at least seven (7) days prior to the date set for the opening of Bids.
