Site work for a water / sewer project in Seattle, Washington. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

The work includes remediation of contaminated sediment (with elevated concentrations of contaminants of concern [COCs]) within the Lower Duwamish Waterway (LDW) upper reach as part of the LDW Superfund Site cleanup remedy of the upper reach Submit all inquiries via email to the Contract Specialist and cc the Alternate Contract Specialist. Contract Specialist: Melissa Jordan, mejordan@kingcounty.gov, 206-263-4005 Alternate Contract Specialist: Trisha Roth, troth@kingcounty.gov, 206-263-1964 Work site: Upper reach of the LDW Superfund Site in King County, Washington, which is defined as that part of the waterway from Duwamish Waterway Park at river mile (RM) 3.0 to the South 102nd Street bridge at RM 5.0. Subcontracting Opportunities: Work Site Preparation; Temporary Facilities Setup; Transloading, Upland Transportation, and Disposal; Bulkhead Strengthening and Reinforcing; Surveys; Identified Debris Removal; Bank Excavation; Planting Preparation and Landscaping; Planting Maintenance and Irrigation. Apprenticeship Requirements: 5% minimum Apprentice Utilization Requirement. SCS Utilization Requirements. 5% minimum requirement for King County Certified Small Contractors and Suppliers (SCS) Community Workforce Agreement (CWA): King County reviewed this Project and determined that a CWA will apply, due to the nature of the work and the estimated labor costs. See Section 00 73 00 Priority Hire Apprentice Utilization Goal: 5% of the total Apprentice Labor Hours worked during the contract. Priority Hire Journey Level Goal: 10% of the total Journey Labor Hours worked during the contract. Bid Guaranty: Not less than five percent (5%) of the Total Bid Price.
