1. The Work shall be constructed at the Unit Prices as specified herein and as shown on the Drawings. 2. The Work consists of the installation of approximately 1,400 feet of new storm sewer, 14 new storm inlets, and and milling and repaving of 5000 square yards of pavement with areas of subbase repair and associated construction along Montrose Boulevard between Clair Street and Lancaster Pike. 3. The Bid Form includes the bid quantities. 4. The project is located in Cumru Township. 5. The Owner is the Township of Cumru All questions must be submitted to the Engineer via PennBid's Question tab. Questions received less than seven (7) days prior to the date of Bid opening, will not be considered. A Certified Check or Bid Bond Drawn to the Order of the Township of Cumru in the Amount Equal to Ten Percent (10 %) of the Total Amount of the Bid Must Be Submitted With the Proposal as Bid Security. The Township of Cumru Hereby Reserves the Right, Which is Understood and Agreed to by All Bidders, to Refuse Any or All Bids Submitted; and Also Reserves the Right to Waive Any Informality in Bids Received, but Any Contract Awarded Will Be to the Lowest Responsive, Responsible Bidder. Except as Otherwise Provided by Law, No Bidder May Withdraw His Bid Within Sixty (60) Consecutive Calendar Days After the Actual Date of Opening Thereof or One Hundred Twenty (120) Consecutive Calendar Days if the Award is Delayed by a Required Approval of Another Governmental Agency, the Sale of Bonds or the Award of a Grant or Grants.
