Emanuel County Schools is requesting sealed bids from Roofing Contractors for re-roofing Swainsboro Middle School. -Remove and replace existing membrane roofing. site at Swainsboro Middle School located at 200 Tiger Trail, Swainsboro, GA., 30401. Contract, if awarded, will be on lump sum basis. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of 35 days after time has been called on the date of opening. Bids must be accompanied by a bid bond and in an amount not less than 5% of the base bid. Both performance bond and a payment bond will be required in an amount equal to 100% of the contract price. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive technicalities and informalities and to award the project on whatever basis is in the interest of the Owner. Question Deadline 02/23/2024 No oral interpretation will be made to bidders as to the meaning of the drawings and specifications. Requests for interpretation of drawings and specifications must be made in writing to the architect not later than five (5) days prior to the date set for receipt of the proposals
