The project includes the resurfacing of Lord's Pond Road beginning at State Route 15 and ending at Idylwild Rd. (0.9Mile), Re-striping Harrison Pringle Rd from US Route 319 to Cross Cedar Rd (1.3 miles), re-striping Archer Pond Road from State Route 15 to US 80 (5.75 miles), Full Depth Reclamation on Harrison Pringle Road from Cross Cedar Rd. to Johnson County Line, the removal and replacement of three (3) failing 48 corrugated metal pipes at Shepard Road at Smith Creek 2300 ft W of US-221. All work to be performed under this project must be completed within 120 consecutive calendar days following receipt of Notice to Proceed. All bids must be accompanied by a Bid Bond in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the Base Bid. Performance Bond and Payment Bond, each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract amount, will be required of the successful bidder. Bonds must be written by an acceptable Surety Company licensed to do business in the State of Georgia and listed in the Department of the Treasury, Circular 570, latest edition. Johnson County reserves the right to reject any or all bids, including without limitation, the right to reject any and all nonconforming, non-responsive, unbalanced or conditional bids and to reject the bid of any bidder whom the Owner believes would not be in the best interest of the Project to make an award to that bidder whether because the bid is not responsive, the bidder is unqualified, or of doubtful financial ability or fails to meet any other pertinent standard or criteria established by the Owner.
