No proposal will be considered unless accompanied by a Consent of Surety, plus a bid guarantee in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the base bid, not to exceed $20,000.00, in the form of a certified check, cashier's check or bid bond, binding the bidder to execute a contract and furnish the required performance bond within ten (10) days after notification of acceptance of the bid. A Non-Collusion Affidavit shall also be submitted. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a performance bond for the faithful performance of the contract in an amount not less than 100% of the total price for the completed contract. Said bond to be that of an approved surety company authorized to do business in the State of New Jersey, and acceptable to the Board of Health.
