Renovation of a municipal facility in Vancouver, British Columbia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
This RFA is to request applications from Applicants with expertise in buried distribution piping systems (the “DPS”) that are part of the City’s Neighborhood Energy Utility (the “NEU”). The required mechanical services include but are not limited to: i. Welding and installation of buried NEU pipe, working with a City civil crew, or potentially subcontracting a civil contractor responsible for the civil works and traffic management as outlined in the description of requirements. ii. Installation of interior piping from the point of building penetration to the tie-in at the energy transfer station (if applicable) as outlined in table Figure 1 below. iii. Subcontracting the civil works if required and taking on Prime Contractor responsibilities for the scope of work. iv. Mechanical works within the NEU Energy Centre’s and NEU energy transfer station mechanical rooms.
