As of April 25, 2024, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established. The Work consists of the following: for Digester C, D, F, and G at OC San's Plant No. 2, replace the high rate mixing pumps, sludge transfer pumps, sludge recirculation pumps, heat exchangers, and hot water pumps, piping, and appurtenances. For the high rate mixing pumps, replace motor starters as well as electrical and control wiring and instrumentation. For the hot water loop, replace the local pneumatic controllers for the 3-way valves with electrically actuated digital controllers. Additionally, the project includes replacing (3) digester gas balance lines, repair digester concrete bridge D-I, and install steel support frames at bridges between Digesters C-D, D-I and F-G. The steel support frames will support the new digester gas lines. The Project is located at Plant No. 2 at 22212 Brookhurst Street, Huntington Beach, CA 92646.
