Contractor shall provide weekly, quarterly, and as needed remedial landscaping services to sustain and maintain an attractive, healthy, and safe condition of all flowers, ground covers, lawns, shrubs, trees, and all other plants at the California Department of Technology (CDT) Data Center and Office Support located at the Rancho Cordova Facility "Gold Camp Campus" 3101 Gold Camp Drive, Rancho Cordova, CA 95670. The area is approximately 55K sq. ft with 5,500 sq. ft of lawn. Contractor shall provide weekly, quarterly, and as needed remedial landscaping services to sustain and maintain an attractive, healthy, and safe condition of all flowers, ground covers, lawns, shrubs,trees, and all other plants at the CDT Gold Camp Campus facility. Proposed Notice of Award Date 2/26/2024 Licenses Required to Bid: Contractor must possess an active and valid C-27, Landscaping Contractor License issued by the Contractors State License Board (CSLB) and be registered with the Department of Industrial Relations (DIR) pursuant to California Labor Code Sections 1770, 1773 and 1773.1. All required licenses, certifications, and registrations must be current and active and maintained in good standing throughout the term of the Agreement. An error in the final Response may cause the rejection of that response; however, CDT may at its sole option retain the response and make certain immaterial corrections, including obvious clerical errors. CDT reserves the right to reject any and all responses for reasonable cause. CDT is not required to award a Contract. A five percent (5%) small business preference will be granted to Bidders certified as "Small Business" in accordance with 1896 et. seq., Title 2, California Code of Regulations (CCR). Certification must be provided by OSDS. If claiming the SB Preference, include your OSDS number and the required information as directed in the bid documents. For award based on low price, the preference is applied by reducing the bid price by five percent (5%) preference as computed from the lowest responsive and responsible. The preference is used only for evaluation purposes and does not alter the amounts of the actual bids. The maximum SB preference allowed may not exceed $50,000 per bid. In combination with any other preferences (TACPA, recycled, etc.), the maximum limit of the combined preferences is 15% of the bid amount and, in no case, more than $100,000.00 per bid, whichever is less. A certified SB may only be displaced by another certified SB with a higher percentage of DVBE participation resulting in a lower adjusted bid price.
