This Request for Proposal (RFP) will assist the City in selecting a qualified contractor to place UDOT spec 02735 type 3 Micro surface on 1.3 million square feet of city roads. SCOPE OF TERMS & CONDITIONS Before submitting a response, the respondent shall understand all contract conditions referred to in this document, and any addenda issued before the RFP submission date. It shall be the respondent's responsibility to ensure that the response includes all addenda issued prior to the RFP submission date. By submitting a response, the respondent acknowledges and accepts the Terms and Conditions described herein. PROJECT DESCRIPTION Lehi City Streets is currently looking for a qualified contractor to Micro Surface on 1.3 million square feet of residential streets. Work will start June 1st thru September 30th coordinate with Lehi City Pavement Manager for exact scheduling dates. The project management team will be expected to communicate regularly with city staff, including on-site meetings at the city's offices, to successfully complete a project that meets the city's goals and objectives. SCOPE OF WORK The contractor will need to complete all construction aspects of the project required in the Scope of Work Details. This section 2.3 will be the guide for the project and all aspects of this section 2.3 need to be taken into account when responding to this RFP. o Place a Type 3 UDOT spec Micro Surface on 1.3 million square feet of residential streets. Ashton Blvd from Club House Dr. to 2100 N & 700 South from 2300 W to Center St. o Contractor will sweep all roads before applying Micro Surface o Contractor will be responsible for all traffic control that meets MUTCD guidelines. o Contractor will be responsible to notify all residents prior to any street closures. o Contractor will be responsible to work closely with the Street Department prior to closing roads, this will allow Public Works to notify Public Safety. o Contractor will need to included Striping in this bid for Ashton Blvd. o 700 South will be striped by others.
