Owner anticipates selection of, and award to, the successful firm(s) approximately March 20, 2024, with a contract effective date of April 15, 2024 (if all selections and contracting processes go as planned). Owner will notify awarded firm(s) upon execution of the contract(s) and expects awarded Respondent(s) to be prepared to accept project assignments immediately thereafter. Contract(s) will have an initial term of one (1) year with four (4) one-year renewal periods. The University of Texas at Austin, Campus Construction ("Owner" or "University") is soliciting statements of qualifications ("Qualifications") for selection of PROFESSIONAL SERVICES firms to provide Miscellaneous Professional Services at The University of Texas at Austin, Main Campus, Pickle Research Campus, Marine Science Institute, McDonald Observatory, Winedale Historical Center and other remote facilities, RFQ number 24PSP174. The scope of work will vary from Project Assignment to Project Assignment in complexity and the scope of services to be provided by the PSP. Required services may include, but is not limited to, one or more of the items of service listed below: o program evaluation o project planning o facilities space management o feasibility analysis o testing o studies/reports o conceptual design o cost estimates o schematic design o design development o bidding construction documents o bidding and contractor selection services o basic construction administration o as-constructed drawings o extensive construction phase quality control and monitoring. All awarded Respondents shall comply with all necessary / applicable codes (Life Safety, NFPA 101, etc.), other regulations, TDLR and "UT Design and Construction Standards" as may be additionally stated in the Master Agreement, subsequent renewals and specific Project Assignments. In 2018, the University of Texas System Board of Regents delegated authority to the University of Texas at Austin to manage all of its design and construction projects. Master Agreements resulting from this RFQ are generally available for minor projects only, those with a total project cost ("TPC") of $10 million or less. However, services for planning, feasibility studies and other predesign studies, or other small professional services scopes (not actual design) that are a part of major projects (TPC $10 million or greater), may be requested under any Master Agreement resulting from this RFQ. Providing services under a Master Agreement for a major project does not guarantee award for the design portion of the project as design services for major projects are generally procured under a separate RFQ process.
