Renovation of a municipal facility in Reading, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
Maintenance Shed Renovations The Work to be performed for the Maintenance Shed Roof Replacement Project will consist of furnishing all labor, equipment, and materials for the removal and replacement of the existing maintenance shed roof. This includes: 1) complete removal of the existing maintenance shed asphalt shingle roofing, underlayment, decking and existing timber framing; 2) complete removal of existing damaged maintenance shed exterior walls; 3) complete removal of damaged roof connection ("cricket") located between the maintenance shed and the adjacent brick shed building; 4) installation of new joists, decking, underlayment and new asphalt shingle roofing at the maintenance shed; 5) installation of new maintenance shed exterior walls; and 6) miscellaneous repairs at adjacent brick shed building roof in area of connection (cricket) between maintenance shed and brick shed roofs; all as designated on plans. Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a lump sum basis as indicated in the Bid Form. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. The Reading Area Water Authority, Owner hereby reserves the right, which is understood and agreed to by all bidders, to refuse and reject any or all bids submitted, and reserves the right to waive any informality in bids received.
