General Requirements - Insurance Required Award Requirements - All or None Award Please use the attached pricing schedule to submit pricing. A performance bond is required. The actual services to be performed will be determined by the City, to include--but not limited to--the following areas: o All fence materials to be off the shelf and readily available from local building material/ fence material suppliers. Only grade 1 cedar 6"x 6" posts and 2"x 6" x 16' rails will be accepted. o Place new estate fence/ gates in same relative position as the existing fence. On site fence placement adjustments may be made with direction from Parks staff. o Demolish existing decorative cedar fence and replace it with new estate fence in same location. o The contractor will be responsible to call 811 for locates for the project. o The city will mark all private locates. o Concrete will be mixed with potable water only. o The concrete will be mixed with potable water and the added wet to each post hole as needed. No dry concrete and water mix in post holes allowed. o The contractor will provide a portable concrete wash out for the project. o Depending on the time of year There may be no water source. Potable water is shut off at the Historical Park October-May. So, it the water is off the contractor will be responsible to provide potable water tank/hose for mixing concrete. o Demolish existing fence and haul away. The contractor will remove and haul away all spoils and construction debris. o The contractor will remove any existing post concrete that is visible or at or above grade. The contractor will also fill and compact all old fence post holes with soil to grade. o The contractor will minimize damage to the site, turf, and road shoulder. o The contractor will clean the entire site daily. Do not track any mud/debris onto any street. If tracking occurs the contactor will clean the road/street within 4 hours of the original request to the satisfaction of the city representative. The site will be returned to preconstruction conditions. o No open holes allowed. o Carriage bolts will be cut flush with nut and filed smooth to the touch. o Robb St. gateso Will be galvanized frame and 9-gauge chain-link Fabric. Gates to match finish height of new estate fence. o Driveway gate will open into the property only. Man, gate may swing both directions. o Driveway Gate will include a lockable drop rod installed in the open and shut position, and an adjustable wheel. o The Man gate will have a lockable fork latch type device. Clear space on Man gate must be 48 inches wide minimum. o Driveway gate will include (2) lockable drop rods placed in open and close o See gate detail. o The contractor will protect the entire site and all materials from all weather and temperature damage. o The city will not accept any damaged or vandalized work. o The contractor will be responsible for the management of all their construction materials. Do not leave any construction materials unattended. The contractor will replace any vandalized or stolen materials at no additional cost to the city. o The contractor may stage from the existing gravel driveway off Robb St. Contractor work vehicles only may also be parked on the east side of Robb St. on the road shoulder during work in progress. Two trucks and one trailer max on Robb St. Employee parking will be on 46 th Ave. only. All work area/vehicles/trailers will be coned/barricaded around during ongoing work. Magnet sweep work area daily. o Work allowed 7am-5pm M-F. No weekend or overnight work. No vehicles/ trailers on the road shoulder during non-work hours. o The contractor will be responsible to repair at no cost to the city all city or private damage they cause. Damage to turf and the road shoulder included. o Approximate fence and gate lineal foot is 300 Ft. o Contractor to field verify all measurements. o See Estate fence/gate details for construction specifics. EVALUATION CRITERIA & PROCESS Evaluation Criteria To simplify the review process and to obtain the maximum degree of comparability, the proposal must follow the outline described below and--at a minimum--contain the requested information. 1.
