Ref. #: TS-2721 The Milwaukee Metropolitan Sewerage District (District) invites engineering consulting firms who have experience with water reclamation facilities, and are familiar with the District's water reclamation facilities, to submit sealed proposals for on-call engineering services for water reclamation facilities. The District will host a virtual meeting for live vendor engagement and Q&A at 11:00 AM on February 8, 2024. All proposers and vendors interested in this contract are encouraged to attend. All attendees must pre-register for this meeting by contacting Nathan Churchill, nchurchill@mmsd.com. Each request will receive a confirmation email with an invite to the virtual meeting. The District reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals and to waive informalities or irregularities in the selection process. The Consultant will be expected to mobilize and respond to projects requiring immediate attention. The District intends to issue a contract with a not to exceed amount up to $750,000. The anticipated contract duration is 3 years, but will depend on the amount of work ordered by the District. The District may issue multiple contracts in order to obtain the desired engineering services. Based on the number of responses and the quality of proposals, the District may choose to issue additional contract(s) with a not to exceed amount of $300,000. Firms with expertise on staff for some, but not all services may submit or subcontract with another firm or firms to bolster its proposal for overall qualifications. Subcontracting is also an approach to bolster the Small, Veteran, Women, Minority Owned Business Enterprises (S/W/MBE) involvement, if the prime contracting firm is not an S/W/MBE firm.
