Reference Number AB-2024-00725 The Proposal Must Be Submitted in Two Separate Files; Part One (Technical Qualifications) and Part Two (Proposal Fee) (Pdf Documents Each Less Than 10mb in Size. This is a Request for Proposal and Not an Invitation to Tender. Alberta Transportation and Economic Corridors Reserves the Right to: A) Request Clarification From the Contractor on a Proposal at Any Time During the Evaluation Process. B) Accept a Proposal Without Negotiation. C) Reject a Proposal Without Negotiation D) Negotiate Changes in the Technical or Financial Content of the Successful Proposal. Review and Data Entry of Level 1, 1.5 and 2 Inspections Into the Bridge Information System (Bis) Application of Transportation Infrastructure Management System (Tims). This Information is Required to Ensure Safety of the Travelling Public and to Maximize the Department's Investment in Bridge Structures Through Appropriate Maintenance and Management Recommendations. The Department's Preservation Programs Are Heavily Reliant on the Quality of Inspection and Inventory Information Contained Within Bis. For All Bridge Structures and Watercourse Training Structures Under the Management of the Department, and All Bridge Structures Under the Management of Municipalities, the Consultant Shall Act as the Reviewer and Provide Bis Data Entry Services of Inspections and Some Inventory Updates Within the Assigned Region. Reviews and Data Entries Shall Be Completed in Accordance With the Department's Bridge Inspection and Maintenance (Bim) System Inspection Manual and Any Other Department's Policies, Procedures, and Guidelines Related to Bridge Inspection and Maintenance. the Project Schedule Calls for Completion of Services by May 15, 2027. the Term of Each Contract Will Be for Three (3) Years. Above Dates Are Subject to Change. Project Management Framework .1 a Project Sponsor, Employed by the Province, Has Authority and Responsibility for the Overall Management and Delivery of the Project. .2 the Successful Proponent(S) of the Rfp Process Will Be Required to Appoint a Project Leader Who Will Interface With the Province's Project Manager. This Interface Will Be the Formal and Principal Point of Contact and Communication Between the Successful Proponent(S) and the Province.
