Demolition, site work, paving and new construction of a mixed-use development in Lancaster, Ohio. Completed plans call for the demolition of a bridge / tunnel; for the construction of a bridge / tunnel; for site work for a bridge / tunnel; for paving for a bridge / tunnel; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
Martens Park Pedestrian Bridge This project includes the removal of an existing pedestrian bridge, building two new substructures, a new superstructure, and constructing segments of new bike path. The engineer's estimate for the base bid is $335,875.70. All bids must include a Bid Guaranty, as described in the Instructions to Bidders. No bidder may withdraw its bid within 60 days after the opening; the City of Lancaster, Ohio reserves the right to waive irregularities, reject any or all bids, and conduct necessary investigations to determine bidder responsibility. The contractor shall pay State of Ohio Prevailing rates as required in Section 4115 of the Ohio Revised Code.
