Parks Canada requires a network of Automated Traffic Recorders (ATRs) to be maintained on Parks Canada roads in Alberta and British Columbia through Jasper, Yoho, Kootenay, Waterton Lakes, Elk Island and Glacier National Parks. Traffic date will be collected and reports will be produced from the collected data. The period of the Contract is from April 1, 2024 to March 31, 2025 inclusive. Option to Extend the Contract The Contractor grants to Canada the irrevocable option to extend the term of the Contract by up to four (4) additional one (1) year period being as follows: April 1, 2025 to March 31, 2026 inclusive, April 1, 2026 to March 31, 2027 inclusive, April 1, 2027 to March 31, 2028 inclusive, April 1, 2028 to March 31, 2029 inclusive under the same conditions. The Contractor agrees that, during the extended period of the Contract, it will be paid in accordance with the applicable provisions as set out in the Basis of Payment. Canada may exercise this option at any time by sending a written notice to the Contractor before the expiry date of the Contract. The option may only be exercised by the Contracting Authority, and will be evidenced for administrative purposes only, through a contract amendment. All enquiries of a technical and contractual nature are to be submitted to the Contracting Authority. Enquiries regarding this solicitation must be submitted in writing and should be received no later than seven (7) calendar days prior to the date set for solicitation closing to allow sufficient time to provide a response. Enquiries received after that time may result in an answer NOT being provided. The estimated contract period will be 60 month(s), with a proposed start date of 2024/04/01.
