Bow Valley College is inviting quotations for the replacement of our existing security cameras on campus. The College is looking for reliable and high-quality cameras that integrate seamlessly with our current Milestone Systems software. The goal is to enhance our campus security with advanced camera technology, ensuring the safety and well-being of our staff, students, visitors, and protection of property. The intention is to replace approximately 320 cameras with new units. The camera replacement may not be like for like in every location i.e.: we may put a quad camera or dual lens where there is currently a single done camera. The final count will be established at time of ordering. The existing cameras are spread throughout our three downtown campuses that are over two city blocks. The existing cameras are located on floors 1-7 in North Campus at 332 6th Avenue SE, on floors 1-7and on parkade levels 1-3 in our South Campus at 345 6th Avenue SE and on floors L-3 in our West Campus located at 300 - 6th Avenue SE. There are numerous cameras on the exterior of these three buildings as well. Our main Security Office is located in the North Campus building. The new cameras should be Power over Ethernet (PoE) enabled and must be fully compatible with our existing Milestone CCTV system. The cameras must meet the specifications detailed below and be National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) compliant. Documents can be obtained from www.purchasingconnection.ca.
