The City of Medford is seeking Qualifications from a competent firm or team of firms to provide a turnkey electric vehicle charging network. Qualified proposals shall include engineering and design; accessible site designs prioritizing pedestrian safety; a discussion of how the proposer will utilize best practices for installation, load management or other technologies or practices that lead to cost savings; a discussion of contract options per unit or port to provide ongoing services; equitable pricing recommendations per kilowatt hour; a cost estimate for electrifying 33 turnkey parking spaces (in addition to the above this should include all associated construction, purchasing, installation, and site repair); and an estimation for the time required to complete the electric vehicle charging network. It is expected that the electric vehicle charging network provider will offer a subscription per charging unit or port, with contract periods of five years or more.
