**As of March 13, 2024 project was awarded Payne & Dolan Inc. with an amount of $156,956.56. ** The work includes furnishing of all materials and equipment and performance of the following work, according to the Plans, Specifications and Contract Documents (PS & CD). The project consists of widening approximately 750' of northbound State Highway 67 at the intersection with N Country Club Pkwy to provide a bypass lane around turning vehicles. The work includes building a new road lane, including excavation common, aggregate base, asphalt pavement, geogrid, guardrail removal and replacement, pavement marking, landscape restoration, traffic control, and erosion control, among other items. Major work items for the Base Bid and approximate quantities include: 560 CY of excavation common, 900 tons of aggregate base ( 3/4 & 1 1/4 inch), 250 tons of HMA pavement, guardrail installation, and landscape restoration. A Bidders qualification statement form will be issued with the Bid Documents. The Bidders Qualification Statement form must be completed and submitted online along with the bid submittal. No bids will be accepted from any Bidder who has not submitted a Bidders Qualification Statement form. Contractors who have submitted prequalification statements to the City of Elkhorn, for this calendar year and for work specific to this project, shall state this on their Bidders Qualification Statement form and prequalification forms will be reviewed. The Owner reserves the right to reject the bid of any Bidder who has been determined to be unqualified. As a part of their Bids, Bidders shall submit a full and complete list of: 1) all of the proposed Subcontractors, and 2) the class of work which each will perform. The selected Contractor shall not alter this list without the written consent of the Owner. The PS & CD require that the selected Contractor and Subcontractor(s) furnish a Certificate of Insurance. Question Deadline 02/08/2024 All Bids shall be accompanied by Bid Security in the form of a Bid Bond, payable to the City of Elkhorn, in the amount equal to five percent of the bid. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive or not waive any informality in the bids received and to accept any proposal, which they deem most favorable to the interests of the Owner.
