Township of Ewing, County of Mercer The Township of Ewing ("Township") is soliciting bids pursuant to the public bidding process of New Jersey's Local Public Contracts Law, N.J.S.A. 40A:11-1, et seq. for a vendor to manage, operate and maintain two (2) public swimming pools located in the Township of Ewing ("Township") for the 2024 summer swim season, specifically the Ewing Senior & Community Center Pool ("ESCCP"), located at 999 Lower Ferry Road, Ewing, NJ 08628, and the Hollowbrook Community Center Pool ("HCCP"), located at 320 Hollowbrook Drive, Ewing, NJ 08638 (collectively referred to as the "Ewing Pools"), including the provision of qualified lifeguard personnel to provide safety and supervision at the Ewing Pools (hereinafter referred to as "Pool Services"), and a qualified professional to maintain the water filtration and equipment operations for ESCCP and HCCP. The Township is also accepting alternative bids for qualified Water Safety Instructor (WSI) services to administer the public and camp swim lesson program. The initial contract shall be a one-year contract for the 2024 swim season, with two one-year options to renew at the option of the Township. The township council of the township of ewing reserves the right to reject any and all bids, or to waive any and all defects and/or informalities in any bid, should it deem the same to be in the best interest of the township of ewing. Bids will be received in accordance with chapter 198 of the public laws of 1971, local public contracts law.
