Bids will be on the basis of unit prices as listed on the Bid Form, and may only be submitted using the e-bidding system. The approximate quantities of major items of work are as follows: 220 Ft Directional Drill Water Main, 8 inch, DR 11 HDPE Valves, Fittings, Restoration, and all appurtenant work. Only Bidders who have been prequalified by the Village of Spring Lake within the required days in advance of the bid opening in accordance with the Information for Bidders section will have their bids opened and read. This project will be entirely funded by the Village of Spring Lake; no federal or state grants are involved. All Proposals shall be made in accordance with the Bidding Documents. A Proposal Guarantee payable to the Village of Spring Lake, in the sum of five percent (5%) of the amount of the bid, must accompany the Proposal in accordance with the Information for Bidders. The right is reserved by the Village of Spring Lake to accept any Proposal, reject any or all Proposals, and to waive informalities in bidding when it is deemed to be in the interest of the Village of Spring Lake.
