The Rural Municipality of Churchbridge No. 211 invites tenders for the supply, haul and spread of approximately 12,000 cubic yards, more or less, of 7/8"traffic gravel throughout the RM, includingspot gravelling and private lanes within the Municipality. Gravel must be placedat spring thawon the municipal roads as determined by Council All queries regarding the work and services required under this project should be directed to: Reeve David L. Zerr 306-743-7950 12,000 cubic yards, more or less, of 7/8" traffic gravel on roads within the Municipality, including spot gravelling and private lanes, as per the attached specifications. The gravel must be placed on municipal roads at spring thaw as determined by Council. SCOPE OF WORK 1. The contractor shall supply, haul and spread approximately 12,000 cubic yards, more or less, of traffic gravel on various roads within the Municipality as determined by the Council. 2. The work shall commence at the 2024 spring thaw and shall be completed on or before April 1, 2024, unless otherwise determined by the Council and dependent on the start of the spring thaw. Once started, work must be continuous until completed with the exception of inclement weather. 3. The material must be placed hot off the crusher. 4. The gravel is to be spread in a uniform thickness that grading shall not be required at the time of placement. 5. Tender for gravel haul includes spot gravelling and private lanes throughout the season. 6. It is agreed that the tender quantities are estimates only and may be increased or decreased by the Rural Municipality without alteration of the tender price. 7. The contractor is responsible for and to obtain all permits, licenses and certificates and pay all fees required by other authorities having jurisdiction for the performance of the Work. 1. The RM reserves the right to accept or reject any or all tenders. The lowest or any tender is not necessarily accepted. 2. The RM reserves the right to accept a tender other than the lowest tender for any reason and without explanation. 3. The RM will consider any other factor besides price and capability to perform the work to be relevant to its decision.
