Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in De Soto, Missouri. Completed plans call for site work for a educational facility; road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The City reserves the right to waive irregularities when it is deemed to be in the best interest of the City and to reject any or all bids. The scope of work includes construction of 5,625 square feet (75'x75') of 8-inch thick concrete pavement. The City of De Soto is seeking bids for improvements to the Athletic Complex entrance off Vineland School Road. The scope of work includes construction of 5,625 square feet (75'x75') of 8-inch thick concrete pavement. The concrete pavement shall be placed on 4-inches of compacted aggregate base. The Contractor shall phase work to allow entrance to remain open at all times. 8-inch thick nonreinforced concrete shall comply with Section 501 of the Missouri Standard Specification for Highway Construction (4,000 psi at 28 days, 6-bag cement mix). Contractor shall submit joint layout plan and joint sealant products to Owner for approval.
