As of March 3, 2025, per owner, an engineering firm was identified. No construction involved. The Village of Northbrook ("Village") is seeking a qualified firm ("Firm") to provide environmental engineering services ("Services") for a variety of infrastructure improvement projects including but not limited to roadway, storm water, and water distribution. This work will take place over the Village's 2024/25 Fiscal Year which runs from May 1, 2024 to April 30, 2025. In conjunction with this work, the Firm will provide the Village with environmental engineering services on an as needed basis for CCDD investigations and the completion of associated forms for excavations and haul-off related to the Village's maintenance of its infrastructure (water main, storm and sanitary sewer main repairs) commonly referred to as LPC 662 and LPC 663 forms. The Firm may also be asked to provide other environmental engineering services on an as needed basis should the need for these services arise. A detailed listing of project locations is not finalized at this time; however the Village has budgeted $11,000 in Fiscal Year 2024/25 for completion of this work. The Village will provide the selected consultant with a listing of proposed projects which will require CCDD documentation preparation at a later date. The project list will generally consist of a project name, location map, and description of the proposed improvements. After receipt of the Village's projects the selected Firm shall provide the Village with a formal not to exceed cost proposal to complete the CCDD documentation. The Village expects that all CCDD documentation will be completed within 45 calendar days of the Village issued Notice to Proceed.
