It should not be used for estimation purposes at this time. The work consists principally of the following: 1. Drilling a new 1,000 gpm water supply well with 20-inch outer casing, 14-inch inner casing, and 14-inch screen to a depth of approximately 300 feet. As a proposal guaranty, a BID BOND or CERTIFIED CHECK must accompany PROPOSALS in an amount equal to five (5) percent of the proposal or $50,000, whichever is less. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish a performance bond and a bond for payment for labor and materials in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price or each work order listing, said bonds to remain in full force and effect for a period of one (1) year after the completed Work has been accepted by the owner. The Board reserves the right to reject any and all proposals, to waive formalities and technicalities in the proposals, and to delay an award of contract for a period of Thirty (30) days after the date for receiving proposals (or such other time period provided for in the Special Provisions). Riviera Utilities reserves the right to refuse or reject any bid for any reason authorized by applicable law.
