Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Hartland, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

Project involves the replacement of 2 hydrants and hydrant valves, 3 mainline 8-inch water valves, replacement of catch basin frame and grates, resetting existing catch basin frames, replacement of manhole and catch basin concrete adjustment rings, sanitary manhole cone replacements, 12-inch storm pipe replacement, concrete curb and gutter replacement, asphalt and concrete driveway replacements, asphalt roadway patching, landscape restoration, erosion control, and traffic control. A Bidder's qualification statement must be delivered to Village of Hartland at least 5 days before the Bid opening date. Bids shall be accompanied by a Bond or Certified Check payable to Village of Hartland equal to 5 percent of the Bid. If the successful Bidder fails to execute the Contract and furnish payment and performance bonds within 15 days after the award, the Check or Bid Bond may be forfeited to Village of Hartland as liquidated damages. Construction time is of the essence. Completion delays are subject to liquidated damages. The Village of Hartland reserves the right to accept the most advantageous Bid, or to reject any and all Bids. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer in writing. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by Engineer in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda delivered to all Plan Holder's of Record. Questions received from Bidders that do not, in Engineer's opinion, allow sufficient time to respond prior to the date for opening of Bids will not be answered. Only questions answered by Addenda will be binding. Oral and other interpretations or clarifications will be without legal effect.
