Willow Creek Streetscapes Maintenance The City of Sacramento's Streetscape Maintenance section provides managerial and contract oversight to contractors maintaining safe, sustainable, and aesthetically pleasing streetscapes that enhance and improve the quality of life in the City of Sacramento. The following standard outlines the scope of services and responsibilities required of the Contractor but may not be inclusive to the entire scope of services. The specifications outline the quantity and category of work required. The Nonprofessional Services Agreement (not included here) provides contract requirements such as insurance and licensing standards, code enforcement, hours of work, extra work authorizations, site service specifications, site locations, etc. Work to be performed comprises general horticultural maintenance, related integrated pest management (IPM) services, the operation of manual and automatic irrigation, cleanup of landscape areas as designated in the attached list of locations and, when necessary, repairs of irrigation systems and replacement of plant materials. Requirements vary by location depending upon the landscaping present. City's Rights. City reserves the right to take any of the following actions in its absolute discretion: 1. The right to award in whole or in part. 2. The right to reject any and all bids is reserved by the City. 3. The right to increase or decrease the quantities listed. 4. The right to issue subsequent Invitation For Bids (IFB). 5. The right to approve or disapprove the use of particular subcontractors and/or suppliers. 6. The City reserves the right to waive any informalities or minor irregularities, as determined in its sole discretion, in connection with bids received. 7. The right to make multiple awards to provide alternate sources to ensure continuity of services. 8. The right to accept a bidder's signed offer and issue a purchase order directly to the bidder based on the IFB. Bid Inquiries.
