Site work for a water / sewer project in Arlington, Ohio. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
As of February 23, 2024, the project was awarded to JM Construction, with an awarded amount of $139,784.35. Earl Street Waterline Replacement. Each bidder is required to furnish with its proposal, a Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond in accordance with Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code. Bid security furnished in Bond form, shall be issued by a Surety Company or Corporation licensed in the State of Ohio to provide said surety. Each Proposal must contain the full name of the party or parties submitting the proposal and all persons interested therein. Each bidder must submit evidence of its experiences on projects of similar size and complexity. All contractors and subcontractors involved with the project will, to the extent practicable use Ohio Products, materials, services, and labor in the implementation of their project. The scope of work to be performed includes the replacement of existing 4 lines with approx. 800 LF of 8 PVC water main and related appurtenances. The owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any informalities or irregularities in the bids received, and to accept any bid that it deems most favorable.
