The work includes but is not limited to two document sets bid as one project which encompass the following: a document package for window replacement and building envelope improvements including blower door testing and another document package for the renovation of restrooms, with all project work taking place at Forest Preserves General Headquarters building and other related work as specified in the plans & specifications. The intent of these documents is to prescribe a complete outline of the Work that the Contractor undertakes to do in full compliance with the Contract. The Contractor shall furnish all material, labor, tools, equipment, appliances, appurtenances and incidentals (except as otherwise specified in the Contract) and shall include the cost of these items in the unit or lump sum bid prices. 24 % MBE participation goal and a 10 % WBE participation goal This determination is based upon the scope of work, estimated project cost and the availability of certified MBEs and WBEs that are certified to provide the type of work needed to successfully complete this project. Collectively, MBEs and WBEs shall be deemed MBE/WBEs". When required, the Bid shall be accompanied by a Bid Bond in the amount of five percent (5%) or more of the Bid, which shall be used for the Bid Security Deposit. The Bid Security Deposit is to be attached to the Bid Deposit Form, which shall be submitted with the Bid. Compliance with the provisions contained herein will be determined, in all cases, by the District's Purchasing Agent and such determination shall be final. The District reserves the right to reject any proposals that are incomplete, conditional, and obscure or contain alterations and/or additions to, standard bid specifications issued by the District.
