Estimate: $250,000.00 to $500,000.00 Question Deadline 02/22/2024 *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. Rehabilitation and redevelopment of City of Paducah (Owner) existing municipal Public Water System (PWS) supply wells and related appurtenances. Base Bid Well Rehabilitation: Well No. 1, Well No. 2, Well No. 5, Well No. 9 Additive Alternative A Bid Well Rehabilitation: Well No. 3, Well No. 6, Well No. 7, Well No. 10 Additive Alternative B Bid Well Rehabilitation: Well No. 11, Well No. 12, Well No. 13 Each Bid shall be accompanied by a Cashier's Check or Bid Bond, acceptable to the Owner, in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total amount bid, as a guarantee that the successful bidder will enter into a proper Contract and execute Bonds on the forms provided in the Contract Documents. Bid sureties will be returned to all but the three lowest acceptable bidders within five days after the opening of Bids. Remaining bid sureties will be returned after complete execution of the Contract. The successful bidder must furnish Performance and Payment Bond on the forms furnished with the Contract Documents in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the total Contract price, from a surety company holding a permit from the State of Texas to act as surety. The surety company must have a minimum Best's Key Rating of "B" or better. The surety company, the agency and agent issuing the Performance and Payment Bond must be authorized to issue such bonds in Texas in an amount equal to or greater than the total contract price The City of Paducah reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informalities in the bidding. Davis-Bacon prevailing wage requirements apply to the construction, alteration or repair of treatment works carried out, in whole or in part, with assistance made available by the Clean Water State Revolving Fund (CWSRF) or a construction project financed, in whole or in part, from the Drinking Water State Revolving Fund (DWSRF). Each Bidder must submit the PRIME CONTRACTOR AFFIRMATIVE STEPS CERTIFICATION AND GOALS (WRD-0217) with the bid, to demonstrate the Bidder's understanding and commitment to taking affirmative steps.
