The Marshall University Office of Purchasing is soliciting bids on behalf of the Department of Housing and Residence Life to establish a contract for the replacement and installment of Luxury Vinyl Tile (LVT) Flooring and cover base replacement for Buskirk Hall Buskirk Hall Flooring Removal and Replacement Question Submission Deadline (date and time): February 13, 2024 at 3:30 PM, EST. BID BOND (Construction Only): Pursuant to the requirements contained in W. Va. Code 5-22- 1(c), All Vendors submitting a bid on a construction project shall furnish a valid bid bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total amount of the bid protecting the State of West Virginia. The bid bond must be submitted with the bid. PERFORMANCE BOND: The apparent successful Vendor shall provide a performance bond in the amount of 100% of the contract. The performance bond must be received by the Marshall University Office of Purchasing Office prior to Contract award. LABOR/MATERIAL PAYMENT BOND: The apparent successful Vendor shall provide a labor/material payment bond in the amount of 100% of the Contract value. The labor/material payment bond must be received by the Marshall University Office of Purchasing Office prior to Contract award. MAINTENANCE BOND: The successful Vendor shall provide a two (2) year maintenance bond covering the roofing system. The maintenance bond must be issued and received by the Marshall University Office of Purchasing Office prior to Contract award. In addition to anything required under the Section entitled Licensing, of the General Terms and Conditions, the Vendor shall furnish proof of the following licenses, certifications, and/or permits prior to Contract award, in a form acceptable to the University The Chief Procurement Officer reserves the right to waive minor irregularities in bids or specifications in accordance with Marshall University Board of Governors Policy No. FA-9 Purchasing Policy.
