A firm timeline for architect award and start of construction has not been determined. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: The City of Cincinnati, Ohio, (hereinafter referred as "City") is issuing this Request for Proposals (hereinafter "RFP") pursuant to the provisions of the Cincinnati Municipal Code (CMC), Chapter 321 and City Manager Administrative Regulation 23 for Professional Services, from parties, (hereinafter "Offerors). The Offeror shall design, lease, as well as install, fitness equipment for the Cincinnati Recreation Commission's (CRC) Recreation Fitness Centers. Design and Upgrades/Replacements The successful Offeror shall design and propose new fitness center equipment upgrades and/or replacements in the sixteen (16) fitness areas/centers. This will include providing an overall assessment of the current equipment (life expectancy, model/model number, The primary goal of the fitness area is to provide a wide range of equipment that will appeal to users of a variety of ages as well as those with special needs and is ADA compliant. The successful offeror will provide a final report for each fitness area/center that includes an itemized list of the proposed services, maintenance agreement, equipment removal/replacement, equipment trade in value, and cost estimates to complete all upgrades. 2. Leasing of Fitness and Strength Equipment Lease to CRC new commercially durable fitness and strength equipment at up to sixteen (16) fitness centers. Leases should include delivery, set up, and provide for the maintenance of the equipment. If a piece of leased equipment is not operational longer than 10 business days, the successful offeror is expected to provide a substitute of greater or equal value within 3 business days at no additional cost. Provide on-site training to CRC staff on the basic functionality and maintenance of the equipment.
