All bids shall be valid for 90 days after bid opening. The work is a public works project subject to ORS 279C.800 to 279C.870 or 40 U.S.C. Section 3141, et seq.; prevailing wage rate of pay does apply to this Project. The awarded Contractor is required to have a Public Works Bond on file with the Oregon CCB before work begins. The Project consists of furnishing qualified traffic control and flagging services for a Public Works project at NW Baker Creek Road, McMinnville, Oregon. The project is expected to start on March 4th, 2024, estimated duration of the project is two months. MW&L estimates needing flagging crews consisting of two and three persons, depending upon the work zone. Generally, flagging services will be needed Monday - Thursday from 8 AM - 5 PM. Each bid must contain a statement as to whether the bidder is a resident bidder as defined in ORS 279A.120. Bidder shall be registered with the Oregon Construction Contractors Board in accordance with the provisions of ORS 279C.365. Bids shall be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond executed in favor of McMinnville Water & Light in the amount of 10% of the amount bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish the necessary performance and payment bonds for the faithful performance of the contract as prescribed in the Contract Documents. McMinnville Water & Light may reject any Bid not in compliance with the contract provisions and all prescribed Public Contracting procedures and requirements, including the requirement to demonstrate the Bidder's responsibility under ORS 279C.375(3)(b), and may reject for good cause all Bids after finding that doing so is in the public interest.
