The Base Bid scope of Work contemplated for the above-named Project includes HMA surface course repairs, HMA full depth repairs, infrared repairs and crack sealing on various roadways throughout the Township. Repair areas will vary in size as this project will be a year-long, as-needed contract. This project is meant to be a year-long, as-needed, pavement maintenance contract. The contract will span throughout the remainder of 2024 and into 2025 during the permitted working period or until funds are exhausted. Bid Packets must be accompanied by a Statement of Consent of Surety from a surety company holding a Certificate of Authorization to do business in the State of New Jersey and either a Bid Bond or a Certified Check drawn to the order of "Township of Upper Freehold" for not less than ten percent (10%) of the total bid price amount, except that the check shall not exceed $20,000.00. The successful Bidder is hereby notified that a Performance and Payment Bonds for the full amount of this Project is required. The permitted working period is defined as March 15th through November 30th (weather permitting). Township of Upper Freehold reserves the right to reject any and all Bid Packets to the extent permitted by law
