Complete installation of new exterior windows and doors to manufacturer's recommendations. Dispose of all old exterior windows and door materials. Pineville Middle School: Remove current exterior windows and doors. Remove current metal frames from exterior windows and doors. Remove current caulking that may be left after exterior windows and doors are removed. Clean brick and concrete surfaces for new exterior windows and doors installation. Complete installation of new exterior windows and doors to manufacturer's recommendations. Dispose of all old exterior windows and door materials. The contract is to remove existing exterior windows and doors in Oceana and Pineville Middle Schools and install new exterior windows and doors in all needed areas for the schools. All contracts must be signed before commencement of work. The number of exterior windows and doors listed in this contract is a rough estimate and is not intended to be exact. Different doors have various amounts of glass. Doors may have sidelights and transoms. Windows are a variety of sizes in both locations for this project. Some windows have Mapes panels instead of glass. The bidder is responsible for actual measurements of all exterior windows and doors to be replaced. Bids should reflect measurements and counts by the bidder, not the Board of Education. This contract also pertains to the removal and disposal of old doors and windows already present on the exterior of the building. This contract is designed as a "turn-key" job. The Wyoming County Board of Education is requesting bids from qualified contractors for the following project: Exterior Window and Door Replacement - Oceana and Pineville Middle Schools The work scope will be discussed in detail at this time, so attendance is required to bid the work. Bid awards will be based on the lowest bid meeting the window and door replacement specifications. Bids shall be submitted on appropiate bid form and shall include all costs to complete the work as specified.
