Renovation of a mixed-use development in Fort McMurray, Alberta. Completed plans call for the renovation of a fitness / recreation center; and swimming pool.

The RRC is seeking a proponent to make a complete replacement of our 25-meter Lap Pool Vinyl Floor and Wall at MacDonald Island Park. It is essential that supply and installation meet the exceptional standards in safety and quality as highlighted in this facility. The successful proponent must provide: Preparation, Supply and install Myrtha vinyl floor, wall, and Gutter including the surrounding tiles. i. Floor membrane removal and replacement with new white smooth and anti-slip Evolution 5B PVC membrane. ii. New PEM soft-walk pad installation in a shallow area iii. Painting of new floor lane markings with black acrylic paint iv. Concrete bench re-lamination with new white Evolution 5B PVC membrane, and black anti-slip contrast strip. v. Concrete stair re-lamination with new white smooth and anti-slip T2000 membrane, and black anti-slip contrast line on the step edges. vi. Wall panels are to be stripped, inspected, and sanded before installation of the new Mrytha skin product. vii. Painting of new wall target markings with black acrylic paint. viii. Recessed ladders re-lamination with new white smooth and anti-slip T2000 membrane, and black anti-slip contrast line on the step edges. ix. Replace recessed ladder steps. x. Pool gutters re-lamination with new white smooth T2000 PVC membrane strips glued by Alkor glue. xi. Perimeter gutter gratings replacement by new white grating. Disposal of old or existing 25m lap pool vinyl parts and materials including garbage bin rental. Any modifications and improvements to the existing structure of the 25m lap pool must be included in the quote. All Materials and parts delivery/shipping to the site must be included in the quote, Any civil works, site works, excavation and hauling, concrete works, installation, sealing deck works, electrical works, grounding works, mechanical works such as plumbing modification or drains modification, structure, and commissioning must be included in the quote. Supply and Installation of 25m lap pool vinyl floor and wall must be approved by Myrtha Pool Engineering Design. Provide dust and noise control during the work. Provide a construction safety plan. Contractor to provide weekly project progress reports. All required Permits from construction, mechanical, electrical, and engineering are the contractor's responsibility and provide a copy to the owner. Project inspection must be done before commissioning. Any deficiencies found during the inspection must corrected or repaired by the contractor before commissioning. Final inspection walkthrough must be done for the project closure. Operation and maintenance sign-off after installation is completed. An Operation and Maintenance Manual will be provided after the completion of the adult whirlpool to the owner. Owner’s and Maintenance Manuals will represent all aspects of on-site maintenance and instructions for pool floor & wall vinyl maintenance structure and equipment. All warranties and guarantees for installed items will be identified in the Owner’s and Maintenance Manuals. A full demonstration of all aspects of the pool will be made by the contractor at the time that the Owner’s and Maintenance manuals are turned over.
