Absegami High School - Contract 1: Renovations (finishes, door, frame & hardware, signage, toilet accessories, metal casework, fire extinguisher, selective roof repair @ new vent pipe & mech curb, etc.) to the existing Concession Area, Women's and Men's Toilet Rooms. All plumbing, mechanical and electrical system work. Oakcrest High School - Contract 1: Renovations (finishes, door, frame & hardware, signage, toilet accessories, metal casework, fire extinguisher, selective roof repair @ new vent pipe & mech curb, etc.) to the existing Concession Area, Women's and Men's Toilet Rooms. All plumbing, mechanical and electrical system work. Cedar Creek High School - Contract 2: All Site Work including indicated access roads, pavement, utility services. New Concessions Building including but not limited to Concession Area, Janitor's Closet, Women's & Men's Toilet Rooms, and Storage Room. All plumbing, mechanical and electrical system work. All other indicated work. Bids will be received as follows : (DPMC: C009 with C030, C032, C047) Contract No. 1 - Existing Field Building Upgrades at Absegami High School and Oakcrest High School Contract No. 2 - New Field Building at Cedar Creek High School Bid Documents for the proposed Work are on file at the office of the Architect, Fraytak Veisz Hopkins Duthie, P.C., 1515 Lower Ferry Road, Trenton, NJ 08618, tel. 609.883.7101. In accordance with the provisions of Chapter 114 of the Laws of 1977, any person desiring to submit a bid by mail or to submit a bid prior to the time of receipt of bids as set forth in this notice, should address or deliver the same to Thomas P. Grossi, Business Administrator c/o Greater Egg Harbor Regional H.S.D. Board Office, 1824 Dr. Dennis Foreman Drive, Mays Landing, NJ 08330- 2640, who will retain the same until the time set forth for the receipt of bids . Bid Proposal shall be submitted in duplicate (one original and one copy) in a separate sealed envelope, addressed to the Owner, bearing the name and address of the bidder, and clearly marked "BID" with the contract title and/or bid number on the outside of the envelope and must be accompanied by a Certified Check, Cashier's Check or Bid Bond drawn to the order of the Owner in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the amount of the bid, but in no case in excess of $20,000; and must be delivered to the above place on or before the hour named. The Board of Education and the Architect assume no responsibility for bids mailed or misdirected in delivery. If the bid exceeds $20,000 bidder must be pre-qualified by the New Jersey Division of Property Management and Construction (DPMC), prior to the date that bids are received. Any bid submitted under the terms of New Jersey statutes not including a copy of a valid and active Pre-qualification/ Classification Certificate shall be rejected as being non-responsive to bid requirements. Pursuant to N.J.S.A. 18A:18A-25, each proposal shall be accompanied by a Consent of Surety from a Surety Company stating it will provide each bidder with separate Performance and Payment Bonds, each in the amount of 100% of the contract sum. Also, Surety agrees to furnish bidder with a Maintenance Bond in required form. All contractors and subcontractors must provide a Business Registration Certificate (BRC) per N.J.S.A. 52:32-44. The BRC must be on file prior to award of contract. This project is subject to the New Jersey State Prevailing Wage Act, N.J.S.A. 34:11-56.27 et seq. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after the date set for the opening thereof. The right is reserved to reject all bids pursuant to N.J.S.A. 18A:18A-22 and to waive minor informalities in the bidding in accordance with applicable law.
