Contract Title: Upgrade Overhead Flashers to LED Stop Signs - REBID Synopsis: This project provides for the improvement of seventeen intersections in King County by removing existing overhead flasher systems, and installing new signs, LED stop signs and LED flashers. The work includes but is not limited to installation of sign posts, solar panel systems, junction boxes, conduit, wiring and associated work, removal of existing equipment such as signal heads, hardware, wiring, span wire, service cabinets, flasher assemblies, wood and metal poles, signs and sign posts, as well as vegetation trimming and removal; temporary traffic control and other work, all in accordance with the Contract Documents. Engineer's Estimate: $615,500.00 Work site: Various intersections throughout King County. Pre-Bid Conference: A pre-bid conference is not scheduled Site Tour: A site tour is not scheduled DBE PARTICIPATION Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) participation for this federally-funded work shall be at least 12% of the contract total. Mandatory Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) Goal: 12% Training Goal: 0 hours Bid Guaranty: Not less than five percent (5%) of the Total Bid Price
