The City of Bottineau is preparing for construction of a new Fire Hall to replace the existing Fire Hall currently attached to the City Armory, located within the city limits of Bottineau, on Block 22 of the Original Townsite. The City is seeking Statements of Qualifications to provide Construction Management at Risk (CMAR) services to participate in the design process with the City and chosen architects, provide estimating services and construction recommendations prior to bidding and construction, and ultimately provide the administration and procurement of construction subcontractors throughout the project. All will be subject to the City of Bottineau approval. The City of Bottineau will participate by providing the initial site prep services, including demolition & removal of the existing structure and installing new sewer and water services onto the site from the City mains in the adjacent streets. The desired construction schedule is to build during the summer, fall and winter of 2024 with delivery of a completed building in December 1st 2024. This Request for Qualifications (RFQ) for a Construction Manager At-Risk (CMAR) does not obligate the City of Bottineau to award a contract or complete the proposed project. The City reserves the right to cancel this RFQ if it is considered to be in its best interest. Proposals must be clear and concise. Proposals that are difficult to follow or that do not conform to the RFQ format or binding specifications may be rejected. Responding venders must include the required information called for in this RFQ, The City of Bottineau reserves the right to reject a proposal if required information is not provided or is not organized as directed. The City also reserves the right to change any provision in this RFQ. Nothing in this RFQ obligates or commits The City to any arrangement regarding the project Begin CMAR Services February 16, 2024 Project Complete December 1st 2024 The City of Bottineau requests the following information be submitted within an 8.5" x 11" soft bound document for use in selecting a Construction Manager at Risk. Format: Paper Submittal: Submittals should not exceed 20 printed pages, excluding the front and back covers and section dividers, and shall be with a soft bound document using 8.5" x 11"portrait format paper. Eight paper copies shall be submitted. Electronic Submittal: One electronic format copy of the submittal shall be included in the submittal on a USB Drive. This copy shall be a non-editable PDF version of the paper copy. Project Experience: Each firm shall supply project names, size, cost and schedules for a minimum of four (4) comparable projects based on total project cost, function and typical construction methods. Examples utilizing structural insulated panels is beneficial. Reference information shall also be included indicating experience with CMAR projects.
